On the way home today a gravel truck didn't do well. Won't say much except truck doesn't look like a truck anymore. Driver was breathing when we were there and still was when ambulance arrived. A miracle in itself. Please pray for this man and his family tonight.

here is some more i took with my bb last night. the differentials were blown right out from under the truck trailer was about 50-75yrds away, readiff was beside truck front diff was about 30ft away wow was all i could think. cannot believe this guy was alive at the scene. we were directing traffic for about 1/2-1hr until emrg crews got there and got it under control. could not believe how many peeps would get mad, like seriously tantrum like mad, because they were going to be late for work. probably 1/4 of the guys we redirected 2 miles out of the way. my advice to them maybe get your azz to worka little earlier so you wont be late lazy dip chits.... jmo.

witness said he just drove off the road. i looked at skid marks kinda looked like he blew a steer tire. pictures are facing east driver was heading east trailer is facing west though:eek::eek:

the tree that is laying on the truck is actuall one of the ones standing by the steer tires. it is busted off about 2 ft higherthan the picture shows.

Looking at the location a blown steering tire or broken tire rods or something to that ilk seem like the only logical explanation.

I have seen similar in the logging industry where the driver has simply reached into his lunch kit for a sandwich, looked up and had caught a soft sholder and that was it, into the tulips.
