Anybody ever see one of these break in half? Bottom piece ended up bouncing around in the brake . Every once in a while it made a horrible crunch like an iceberg going thru the tunnel.
Horrible noise.

yep we check the bolts on that frame every time we take the hood off and the right side (PTO) seems to crack often

I check hardware during preseason checks, i've done that on all my sleds over the years to avoid this kind of issues.
I highly recommend using loc-tight on all your hardware and torquing to specifications. I actually do that from new before hitting the snow. Years ago before i would do this, i ran into such issues of bolts coming apart or loose but not since i started doing it.
It takes about an hour to do the entire sled.
