How many of you who have ordered the Arctic Cat 1100 turbo are putting the Highjacker on it right away? What are your thoughts on this product?

thanks Peeps!

This is just my opinion.......

Over at Hardcore Sledder that has been an all out war over who will have the best reflash or bax for these new turbos. One company in particular has been relentless in pushing their products and at prices that seem a little steep. My thought is that non one has even had one of these sleds on snow yet so true real world testing has not been done. Many of the aftermarkets are just getting 2012's to play with. Yes, the engine has been around in the F turbos, where some testing has been done, but a lot has changed as well.

Speedwerx, D&D, TurboDynamics, Branix all have somthing out or coming. Each is unique. With the number of these units Cat has sold I imagine there will be a few other aftermarket turbo specialists entering the foray in the near future. Do your research as all have good and bad points. Prices are dropping as they battle it out for market share.

I think once the snow flies there will be a few other options and real world results. Till then I am personally holding off to see what happens.

About the D&D units in particular, it sounds like they have improved them a lot for this season. Those in the know are happy with it.

Um....ZRrrr...what's that got to do with the Highjacker?

I've had a "knock-off" sled lift on my XP for two seasons. If you mount it right, you don't even know it's there. Works great for unsticking a sled without tweaking your back.

I'm waiting to see what happens when sleds hit the snow. But that being said i know that boondocker has had the chance to work with these and they build as very good product for the turbo stuff already. Boondocker keeps pushing the turbo envelope farther like there new adjustable timing key for the cats and poo's. The new timing key retartds the timing at low elevation and the back to normal once you get to elevation, what this does is allows you to run higher boost on pump gas. I think the set-up to get is going to be the boondocker set-up. How could you ask for a better test guy than bret rasmussen.

Apparently Highjacker is both a sled lift AND some sort of tuner system for a turbo....Oops.

The boxes you put on the new cat 1100T to bump the HP up to around the 240 mark is called a highjacker box. I've never heard of a highjacker sledlift.

Well the 1100T isn't a new motor and there are performance shops that have been makin big hp and not havin issues. It dont expect there to be any issues with reliability at all especially if a person only runs the 240hp box.
