No doubt, there's a catch though... My cousin was talking to an insurance adjuster after he hit a deer on the highway. The adjuster commended him on hitting the dear. "Never try to avoid the deer becuase if you crash it will be very hard to prove that it was becuase of the deer you didn't hit. And remeber, if you hit a person on the raod, always back up and run over them again to make sure they're dead becuase it costs the insurance company too much if they survive."

Yep thats true I swerved to miss a deer Crashed broke my back ,but didn't hit the deer and they said In the report ''apparently swerved to miss deer'' So ya nail it!

That excuse has been used to cover up too many single vehicle accidents caused by drunk drivers who then report that they swerved to miss a deer and thats why they rolled their truck at 2:00am in the morning.

Every single vehicle accident i have heard of had something that caused it. It was never the drivers fault. lol Maybe because there are no witnesses so they go for broke with the story???

Ya I know all the stories I drove tow truck for my old man for 4 years ,but this was at 11 am and I don't drink .but what ever all is good the short and long of it was I should have hit it so ya I screwed up.

Wasn't referring to you specifcally. That is why they say hit it to prove it was actually there!! I have seen people go so far as to put deer hair in the grill after the fact and the grill wasn't even broken!!!
