I find the track thing hilarious, more Polaris owners are putting skidoo tracks or skidoo knockoff tracks on their machines than ever before. 2.75 is never better than 3” lol!! Speaking for real mountain riders. The Polaris is light sure, and that’s great, maybe it’s easier to get unstuck, maybe it requires less effort, that’s to be debated but I’ll give him that one. You can do math until your face is blue, the proof is on the snow, when it’s 3ft deep at 6500+ feet there is no comparison between the two. Really interesting how his findings are so opposite to guys that ride 100+ days a year in real snow.

There is not one snowmobiler in the world that would ride these 2 machines back to back in deep snow at high elevation and say the Polaris works better with a straight face.

Where did he get the 155 vs 168 hp lmfao?!? Blatantly false. I’ve seen above 165 at sea level on the turbo.

If you buy a Polaris it’s because your comfortable on it and it works for you, or maybe you have a good dealer. Not because it’s the best performing snowmobile available.

it started sideways with an attempt to correct the course. But anything with my name and Polaris involved is usually doomed.

There have been years that Doo lost HP and years they gained HP for no obvious publish reason but I agree with you there is nothing I have seen that would indicate they are less than 165 HP. The N/A G4 on the other hand seems better than previous. Likely though the better performance could be linked to loss of weight, better clutching and short tunnel in some models.

i dont know, you would have to ride them back to back to understand what im talking about but minor clutching, gearing, fuel mapping, geometry changes and shorter tunnel really change a snowmobile. Its not that it feels like it has 20 more HP it just feels more refined and feels like its working better than its predecessor. Its a good thing.

Here is the gospel truth, I ride Chrisco's sled tons when he is wheezing and coughing up blood and I steal Niners sled all the time when he is off playing with himself trying to figure out his sexuality and I will state this to be true to myself being the doo owner and now infected with the doo virus. 1 the polaris is an amazing sled that grows on me every time I ride it, no real complaints other than the ****ty track and rear shock, pretty minor and I would own one in a heartbeat, 2 The Alpha feels like a hooker on cocaine, get on it and hang on for dear life cuz you never really know where you will end up cuz its crazy responsive in the handling and it is so damn efficient that we are always amazed how well it does in every snow condition. 3 My doo, it took me 3 rides to start liking it and no complaints, not even the t motion affects me which I thought would, great power, no bogs ever, and the floatation is amazing, not trying to sound like a braggart but I can even ride with Maxwell and sort of keep up! The best part of our group, including Dragonweld is that we all criticize our sleds in a positive way and we are all competitive so we keep pushing each other, next trip out Crisco and Dragonweld will be duking it out for king of the hill and I will be sitting at the bottom trying to help Niner with his gender confusion.
