Just waiting for the final funds to come in through paypal then I'll post the final number. Then it takes 5-6 working days for the funds to come from paypal and I will prepare to dispurse the funds to the families involved.

Just wanted to thank all of you for you help and support it means alot to my family. Warren Rothel was a memeber and he went by Wild Thing on this site and once again my 2 children and I would like to thank you all.

A little good news update here, I work for SMS Equipment here in Edmonton and we have a branch in Elkford. Two of the three survivors of this tragedy are connected to our company, one as an employee, and one as the son of an employee. Along with the tremendous contributions of our staff at the Snowarama fund raiser for the families our company is donating a monument for the fallen riders. The guys are building the foundation for it right now and I'll try and get some pics of it when it's finished. They are putting it at or real near the actual avy site. It is laser etched in rock, here is a rendering of the final monument.

Makes me proud of where I work today!!
