Done. But I feel that the questions should not be to estimate. Ask the questions do you ride in the out back? do you use avalanche gear, etc. That would give you more precise numbers. JMO

Hi Pipes,
Thanks for the feedback. You are totally right that actual numbers of users is the best solution, but the problem is that it is likely only the 'converted' will take the time do this online survey. Then the numbers would really looked skewed.

Without paying someone to sit at trail heads across the continent and quiz riders on the snow we don't really have an economical way to get a big picture view using true and scientifically generated numbers.

For now this will give a general picture that might trigger individual regions to generate something more formal. It is all about budget money...where best to spend it. If we can get a good cross section of the sled population to complete this exercise we'll have some material to start with.
