Heated Goggles

This will be my second season with the 509s, I keep them on all day and get about 4hours for each batt pack.

I am contemplating getting a 3rd spare battery just incase

where you finding the extra batteries at, would like a few extra as well, make a long day of running them constantly

these have been the only googles to date that have worked for me, lot of head heat here

anyone know where we can buy replacement lens holders from, the foam around the ones i have has got soft

here's some pics of the Abom Heets in Flash Green Mirror. they're noticeably larger than the Smith goggles (bottom pair) but since these are made for snowmobilers, they fit fine in my 509 helmet and the size diff doesn't show up in the pic. these seem to be very well made and i like the fact that there's no battery pack and associated wire on the strap. the other pics show a couple of colors of the LED light status light. blue is the on-demand mode and orange is the always-on auto adjust that determines when to turn them on based on humidity. in either mode, a quick press of the button turns on boost mode which is a 40 second boost of heat and the led will flash 3 times. red LED is charging and green is charging complete. in the box are the goggles, manual, charger, goggle bag, and obligatory sticker sheet.
i'll have a chance to use these this week so i'll see how they perform.

i got my extra from the local poo dealer
