I can find the 509 heated just the ignites. I cannot find any 509 aviator 2.0 expecially with polarized yellow lens.

what is the difference between a polarized lens and a regular lens. I may just grab a cheaper set as several stores have a pair or two remaining

Made them for two years but ya sucks they discontinued them, i have 3 pairs of infernos, all different lenses, have used them for the last 5 seasons but the lenses are starting to show age, ive looked at the other brands offerings, 509 is junk quality, look good work good but for how long????? The Abom heated one is gonna be my next pair to replace the oakleys

The wire was not into the lens it was at the bottom of the googles to the battery pack. Lasted one weekend. The magnetic lenses are the 2.0's only and they are new for 2021, they have no wires to the lenses all magnetic. Idea is slick just need some strain relievers on the wire so they can take some stress, will try another pair and see how they do.

I’ve been using the Oakley inferno’s for two seasons now and they’ve been awesome.

I have the oakley inferno's as well but after trying these 509 ignites I wont go back to the oakleys, the oakleys don't seem like they are actually heated as the lens doesn't get warm where the 509's I can feel the heat on my face when they are on. Not saying the oakley's aren't any good but from my experience the 509's clear the lens so much better. Plus the discontinued the inferno's anyway.

In them hills.
check out the oregon company https://abom.com/collections/heet-product
in always-on mode there's a sensor that detects humidity to cycle them on as needed which allows the battery to last all day (Abom Heet). no battery pack on the strap either so thata menas no wire issues.
looks like a better idea than 509's.
That auto mode could be the ticket. I see the us military uses them

I have them, worked amazing the first season and then i broke the wire like rons photo showed. Need to be very careful with that. I replaced the lense and now half way through season 2 with no issues i am just more careful with them. You dont need to leave them on all day. I hit the 90 second clear mode every once in a while and it last all day and i am defogged. Truly changes your riding experience having the same set of fog free goggles on all day. Worth it IMO

First post I’ve ever agreed with you. Progress. Lol

after comparing all the offerings, the Aboms look to be better designed and thought out. I have a pair arriving today so I’ll post later with initial impressions.

Anyone wearing prescription glasses with these goggles? Does it help with the glasses from fogging?

Tried the Abom and battery lasted about an hour- it was -15 outside, they didn't fit well as they are very rigid. Also note that the battery is in the lens, so cannot swap batteries and battery size is very small. They would be fine if you don't sweat much and are a fair weather sledder. Ended up returning them.
Now I have the 509 ignite and love them. Just hit the 120 mode when needed and they only take a few seconds to clear, lasted all day. Tried them continuously and they got about 4 hours on steady in -10 to -15 weather.
