I have a set of Aboms had them since mid last snowmobile season, Awesome goggles and very good quality. They come from the website within a week. I also have a set of oakley inferno's and the Aboms are the ticket. Only wore the oakleys once and no comparison with the aboms.

509’s are awesome heated goggles. Not a huge fan of 509, but after trying a pair in Revy I invested. Grab a spare battery and you’re covered. Good investment if you’re a foggy up kinda guy or just get crappy weather, they’re a game changer.

I too have the 509's. Bought two pair as i seem to consistently get about 5 hours out of a charge. No biggy on days where i only need them intermittently, but on foggy/wet days I leave them on continuous. These things are great and once you get a pair yu wont go back to anything else.

Anyone that fogs up really bad - try changing your helmet you will be surprised - I went from a 509 carbon to a klim f5 koroyd and my fogging up days were over - I now avoid fog 09 products at all cost

I got the 509 revolvers and really like them. I lack skill and breath heavy after lots of stucks.... they were the only goggles I used in a 2 day trip, usually cycle through 2-3 pairs.

the 509 heated goggles are pretty slick, switch batteries as needed but they work great.

Never tried the 509s but just checking them out at the store the battery pack felt pretty bulky and feels heavier than my Oakley infernos.

Dunno, must be the 12v car battery model with 1000 CCA...I think they’re all smaller than a GoPro aren’t they?

I ordered the Aboms direct from there web site last year, any questions you have they will answer vi phone or email great goggles you won’t be disappointed. There are no dealers in Alberta, I also pickup a pair of FXR plug in heated goggles as well for back up.

I brought in a pair of 509 infernos for a friend last season. He likes them so I ordered the same for myself this season. They came in a really nice molded neoprene zippered box and work great. (it will be mounted on my tunnel this season) My only wish would be that there would be a Quick-strap option. Turns out the strap is okay as I don't need to remove them often to avoid fogging like a standard goggle. Anyway Abom is working on a snowmobile specific goggle right now and I might get a pair to test. I hear they have improved to make their latest design to be the longest lasting battery on the market and the battery is also incorporated into the goggle frame so any strap works. The problem I saw with the previous Aboms is that they did not include a nose shield. I hope if I get a pair they have added that now as I heard they understand it is needed for the sled market.
