Millenium Edition sleds and "tribute" sleds are very different things.

and the millenium edieion was only avail in 2000. and the zx chassis wasn't avail till mid 99 production. all the snow checked 99s were 670x's then they went to the 700 and the new zx chassis.

Just to keep this updated..... I didnt hear back from the guy until yesterday. He sent me some pictures of the TRIBUTE SLED.. Here they are... If anyone can tell me if this is something SPECIAL, or just a regular summit/ MXZ, I would appreciate it. I would hate to give him my car for a POS. Thanks. :d

O.K. - here's the deal: The tunnel is from a 98 Summit 670 (not X). The motor is from a flatlander sled (670 Formula, MXZ, etc.) The secondary clutch and airbox are from a flatlander sled, the seat is from an MXZ or Formula. There is no HAC nor DPM on the sled, nor did that airbox ever have one mounted on it. Stay clear - that machine isn't worth 2 grand, and for that matter, may have "warm" components on it. I couldn't see the exhaust exit point the Summit X and the Summit had different holes in the bellypan. In any case, this is a toboggan that was pieced together for whatever reason, and surely isn't worth what that Z28 is.

If it was a Summit it must have the HAC on it and i dont see it. Looks like just the hood and maybe check the ski stance 38 or 40" is a summit. What is the track length looks short but used to the 162 now. Also looks like 97 couler scheme.

He guy claims its a 136" track. :d

Windshield is just an aftermarket piece of junk, not some factory low profile one.

Seat looks like its off an MXZ, I had one exactly the same, Summits usually didn't have the factory side panels on the seat, that was a snowcross thing.

No HAC - WTF? All the Summits came with HAC or DPM. Check main jets in carbs, if they are less then 350's its an MXZ, stock Summits came with 410's I think, the MXZ's came with 340/350.

Tribute sleds were built for Tony Haikonnen and Mike Houle, but the Houle sled was an 809 and this is not a Haikonnen tribute sled, unless it has been wrecked and other parts were used to rebuild it. Only real way to tell is to use the serial #, but honestly it doesn't look like its worth anything anyway, they never made a Summit "Tribute" sled, the only ones they made were the MXZ Tribute sled (Haikonnen) and the Mach Z Tribute Sled (Houle). If he's marketing this as a Tribute sled, tell him its not worth anything unless its got the original parts and pieces.

It looks like a half breed between a Summit and and MXZ.

Either way, its not worth more than $2000. There have been 4 new chassis designs since that sled came out. It has depreciated far too much.

DO NOT trade the car for that sled, its not worth it.

Might be worth playing with him for a little bit though, where did you get the ad for this sled? I might send him an email as an "interested" buyer.... :D

WOW !!! Thanks for all that info, thats awesome. Thanks for saving
my car !:d He approched me on my car, as its advertised on KIJIJI to trade for a sled. I thought for sure I wouldnt have a problem trading a car like this for a sled, guess I was wrong.. Thanks again for the info......:d
