I want a turbo 136, with stacks and flames. In all seriousness, doesn't the old wedge only have a 156" 2 1/2" on it?

It does but its as long as a stock 162. Something tells me if you have to much power for your chassis it comes over backwards. If Im wrong in this assumptiom will somebody guide me in the right direction.

Im thinking if doesnt try to pull a wheelie you should be looking for more power. Then when It does you should properly set up your skid and continue on.

Im currently running holtz, because thats what my sled came with when I bought it used and it works well and rides good. If I was purchasing a new rear skid it would be a racers edge rear skid.

If you are gonna try a new skid I would try a stock skid out of a 98 700 rmk. Its the best.

Ive rode a sled that has a mm skid in it like your wedge. It works well in the deep and doesnt trench much at all. That same sled is also pulling a 110k trackspeed, so that might help with the trenching also. I just like the smooth trail ride a little to much to go back to springs.

The mm skid isnt for everyone Ya I admit my mm skid doesn't ride great on the trail but works great for my style of riding in the deep and steep and Ken will tell you the same he never designed his skids for 2 foot moguls they are purpose built for the steep and deep. It is an old school design but it just flat out does what it was designed to do. When you look at any of kens hand built sleds you'll notice that there long and low and thats why they work as good as they do. Other company's skids not going to name names are starting to be designed very similar. I wonder why that is?

By the way kev other skids do work pretty good too I ran the same rear holz as matt for years in my 07 rev and it worked great it works great on matts sled too. Once he gets his turbo dialed to were he wants it ya it'll probably wheelie but it'll still go good

We all know your opinion is the only one that matters kev but that's why they make different types of skids for different riding styles

Its cooler when your dragging the bumper than when the skis are only 8 inches off the ground. Right....wrong

Kevin you should covert that 900 cat bottom end into a fuel injection, than add a turbo and see if you can maybe wheelie. It would be neat. Maybe even fun.

Sarcasm my friend. everybody builds turbo's cause they dont like to climb high. I cant wait for winter. So if your wheeling with a 174 3" would you climb higher then if you were wheeling with a 121" 3"
