a old buddy of mine put on his facebook status one day about poaching heli ski runs, i lost it on him, and told him to stay out of revy

for a dumb idea, rowdys e-mail sure seemed to get a lot of attention, looks like tobe was here right away, this guy is affecting our sledding area"s and seems that a simple e-mail to a select few gets results very quickly. now how dumb is that.

can't see anything changing this guys attitude other than money.

yes your right they are not associated with him, as they stated, but they were on here rather quick wouldn't you say?

i'm sure we should hear something from the skiing community soon,

isn't it amazing what response 1 e-mail gets. so if you have any better ideas let us know, so far it seems the old do nothing approach hasn't gotten the same results.

and therin lies the dangers of a forum like this assuming someone is involved when they arent, how many sent an email to tobe to complain? saw at least three i think. i would guess it hurts this site more than it help your cause.

i have no idea of anyone's involvement, it was posted that he was on one of there dvd's. an e-mail sent, if they still sell this 6 yr old dvd, they are still making money on his presence. i can't see any hurt towards this forum at all, no more than the green and ski crowd. obviously he has been on one dvd and may want to be on others, i have no idea, bad publicity may limit his options. i have to commend rowdy for doing something, most will sit back and do nothing. hmmm what do you see us doing? we'll see what happens from here, probably nothing, definitley ammo for the ski community. as if they need any more. just my thoughts

curtis claimed there was a policy on this site in another revy thread (dude riding sled on cabin) that did not allowed names to be posted, how come open season in this thread.

oh, tomas wouldnt have bothered with signing up had he not gotten emails about boycotting tobe on SNOW AND MUD.

as stated i have not seen the film and really haven't looked into it, just comments on what i've read so far, i think you'd have more impact by sending e-mails to all film promoters that want to sell future dvd's. and i'm sure it would get more attention, than has been posted so far.


can't see anything really changing this guys mind or attitude though.

there, are very few businesses out there will ignore any bad publicity, intimidator may be right, keep quiet and send e-mails to all promotors that a boycott of any film with this clown in it will be forthcoming, quiet and effective.
