I just picked up a 2009 crossfire 500. It has the standard instrument guage with odometer 2 trip odometers and you can switch the needle between rpm amd mph. Problem im having is i cant get anything to switch or reset the trip. I pulled the connection apart looks ok making good contact. When i push on the buttons to try and reset or swith things nothing happens and on the bottom of the gauge you can see other icons let go of the button icons go away. Is the guage buggered? Also when i switch from reverse to forward the R stays on and keeps beeping then ccu comes up on the display. Shut it off restart it it goes away not sure what that means. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Not sure on the gauge issue, I believe Nextech (or something like that) does do repairs and upgrades. That model looks to have the mechanical reverse check the actuator on the diamond drive and make sure it is not sticking along with the reverse switch also on the DD.
