Rod usually grooms at night when its colder and there are no sleds on the trail. Night grooming allows for a bit of setup before the sleds get on there the next morning.
.,,,,You know you are getting older when you would just as soon get in a groomer for 12 hours than sled for 8 hours... Is Rod doing the grooming this year??....Will have to look him up next time we are up there and go for a run in the groomer with him..

Hotrod is starting to work on Lucielle today (Dec.3) so it will be ready to go by the weekend. Renshaw groomed yesterday (Dec.2), about 4-6in of new snow and temps at -12. Higgins.

Just talked to Hotrod, all trails are now groomed "BUT" he said to mention there are some hazards such as dips, rocks and logs that are still uncovered at certain spots on the trails due to low snow coverage. He's marked as many as he could with orange flagging and such. So be careful!! Renshaw will be groomed on the evenings of Fri.(Dec.6), Sat.(Dec.7) and Lucielle the evening of Sat.(Dec.7). As of today no new snow, and -20.

Renshaw to be groomed today or tomorrow, he was undecided! Not many sledders this past weekend due to ultra cold temps and the snow still low. But he did report it had warmed to -9 and a fresh 6-7in. had fallen in town over night. Keep it coming!

Well you're in luck Firefly!!!! Just talked to Hotrod and he groomed Renshaw last night(Mon.), 14in. of new snow at the cabin and it was still snowing hard when he left. Belle has had 12in. of new and he is grooming Lucielle tonight or tomorrow. He mentioned 12in. of new snow had fallen in town also! And possibly more in the forecast!
