Grizzly tire size

I am going to swap out my stock tires on my 2014 Gizz and was wondering if I should stick with the stock 25" size or go to a 26". Would going up only 1 size require clutch work? I don't want to go to super large tires as I am a trial rider not a mud bogger. Was thinking Bighorns or Bear claws or Teracross tires.

26 will be fine. That's what's on my 07 700 And they actually don't measure exactly 26 "

Go with a 26 or 27".

Put 26" on my 09 no problem, so put them on my 14 , don't think I would try the 27 just because how nice the 26 work, don't loose any real wheel speed

You won't have any problems with 26" tires and stock clutching, particularly if you're not a mud guy.

agreed... i have 27 interco reptiles on my grizz some say they are a heavy tire... i never noticed a problem... my bike is stock otherwise... just remember deep mud always throw it in low... stock or not that where i was told it was meant to ride

Definitely!! I put 26" Zillas (not mud zillas, they are a heavier tire) on and have had no issues. and like the guys stated above you won't have to put on a clutch kit with only increasing one tire size up from stock. Mind you the quad will sit 2 sizes up depending on what time of tires.

I had 28" silverbacks on my 660 grizzly for 1 1/2 yrs before I got my can am. It turned them just fine. Only had it in one hole that was mostly clay where the tires wouldn't spin and I had to be winched out. All other quads were stuck in it also. I did try 30" mud lites but the quad was too tall. So don't be afraid to go to a 27 if you find a good deal. Have a look at mud bugs too.

my o7 has 27-10-12's on the front and 27-12-12 on the back...worn out mud lites..stil work tho
