If I was to get one privately (as in someone took delivery but didn't ride it) can the full 4 year warranty be transferred into my name? If not how many years do I lose?

What is the cost to buy the extra 3 year warranty?

Anyone have a line on a black one besides the one listed on kijiji for 17500 in Calgary?

Where can i pick up GnR braces in GP area?

Any other must haves ? Besides Q-link and stinger.

4-year warranty will be transferred to you, however if you choose to sell in the future before warranty is up it will not be transferred to the next owner.

I beg to differ. Warrenty is transferable at any dealer.

If you look on the ski-doo website it states it plain and simple. Like "milton" said, the warranty followes the sled.

My apologies for the misinformation, I was under the impression thats how it worked, thanks for setting this straight. It obviously makes more sense that all warranty stays with the VIN

I bought one on a private deal and the four year warranty was transferred to me. Earlier in the season there was two available at dealerships one in Vancouver and one in Edmonton. Both said that the sleds would have one year warranty because I was not the one that ordered them and the price was almost $1000 more.

We just bought 2 fairly new 2014 XM's (both had 60 miles on them), an 800 Etec and a 600 Etec and had both warranties transferred over to our names.
