Nice, almost ready for snowmobiles. I was going to molest my yard with my sled when I got home from Jasper but needed to catch up on sleep. Maybe try tomorrow to see how I am doing from last year and if Im soon ready to hit the mountains.

We are close. . Hopefully this year you grab those bars twice as good as last year.!
Tuesday should be above zero. I think the snow will settle down into a nice pack in rhe warmth. I’m gonna go on a big ditch bang. Play hooky from work get some local riding.

My place at Lake isle. You in ? Just off Sangudo hwy and 633. Picking up My niece from school at 11. I’ll be out there by around 12:30 should be riding 1pm. Probably won’t do the trails cause there’s no base yet. Just ride ditches. Maybe the plan is Drayton Valley Boston Pizza for lunch/supper. And then back. I’m not sure. Just feel good to get out. I still gotta take it easy till the snow settles. I’m hoping it’s warm enough. It will pack it down a bit tomorrow.

If you decide to hit the trail system ride wide and pack it. The boys have got the snowcat hooked to the drag and are ready to go soon as we get the next decent dump or two of snow

Good advice Tyler. When bruce and I go out with the kids, there’s six of us and I’ve instructed the kids for years to ride wide so the groomer has a packed base to groom.

Well. What a day. Plus 6 slushy snow to start. Rode lake isle to darwell to gunn back on sangudo hwy to gainford for supper. Poured rain while we’re eating ditchbang back to the house in the rain and dark. Then it quickly transitioned to a blizzard. Just my niece and I she did really good. Ditches are super tricky with no snow base.

From the clubs perspective we're mostly waiting on the ice now. It sounds like it's only at 9" so far. Hopefully by next weekend it'll be thick enough we can put the posts in across the lakes. Some colder overnights coming soon.

Sunday funday. Bro neice and I again. 95km total. Mostly all skinny ditches the snow is super hard bottom. We have a wicked base now.

Finally had some time and went out again today. Was out last on Dec 6 for 140 miles (two tanks of fuel). Today was 75 miles (one tank). Best local snow we’ve had in a few years.
