Gopro type cameras

Im looking for some info on these type/style of camera. Im open for opinions on other brands as well. The main reason Im looking for one now is to capture the “little moments” with my kids, when we are out camping, quading, sledding, etc.
Info on mounting options, body harness etc would be great. I did not have a desire to own one of these until I took my 3y/o on her first sled ride. I’ll never forget it but it would of been nice to capture the moment on camera.

I use garmin virb. Flick a switch to record, flick it off when done. With gloves too. I use a chesty when sledding and doing porn.
It does speed and elevation also.

I have a Drift Ghost-S. Good cam. I like the remote.
I like the helmet mount. If you mount to the machine there is always a speed/rpm that makes the camera go nuts.

I prefer my original Drift, but if a GoPro style is what you're looking for it's hard to beat this one. I have the previous 1080p model of this and it works great. Can't beat the price. I actually bought 4 of them so I'd still have one after the kids found out.

i bought the sjcam with wifi off amazon works good under a $100.00 and uses all the gopro mounts

Got a Go Pro Hero 3 from Costco. Love it. The accessories are the killer price wise. Best buy had a kit for $30 that had 'no name' accessories for the camera, probably over $250 if it were brand name stuff. Buy the mounts from Amazon, you can never have too many of them.

I got a wasp, Canadian manufacturer and wouldn’t trade it for a go pro, Love the camera !

I have a Drift Ghost HD. Great camera. Awesome picture and Bluetooth to my iPhone works great. I don’t use it as much as I Want. Oh!? And battery life is way better than any GoPro.
