Gopher season

He is a religious gopher hunter and it's all he uses. He has half a dozen hmrs but his go to is the wsm. It gets fairly windy down in the pass and it deals with the wind a lot better. And it launches them further in the air too haha.

I'm good with the hmr for the amount I get out but he is out a 3-4 times every days off

I love my 17WSM, definitely my go to for small varmint annihilation, I haven't been into a good gopher patch in 10 plus years though. So my focus is using on muskrat and beavers with the occasional coyote.

I don't know if I have put a box through my HMR since I bought the WSM back in 2014 or 2015.

I agree, at least its meat not bugs :sick: processed in a plant......was at a trappers line once and he was going to feed me some lynx, problem was he didn't catch one.....the only other meat was muskrat.....ate some....didn't die....wasn't good....better than death I guess.

What did the muskrat taste like?, the meat looks a decent color. Always wanted to eat gator and squirrels down south lol
