Google cases for under hood

Again having goggle issues this year. Thought is was finally solved by going with oakleys and a breath guard on my old helmet. My new helmets breath guard is working well for me and it almost seems like the coating on my oakleys isn't working as well. So until I get that sorted out what is out there for heated goggle cases? Either by 12 volt or engine heat? What is working and what isn't. Looking for something that will carry my spare set and when one pair fogs up and is unusable I can put them in there to thaw out.

There is a goggle case right from arctic cat, can be flanged up to fit anything in sure. Any dealer carries them

I was searching around and just came across that one. Might try and get one. The cat dealer I use still hasn't called me about the windshield I ordered for my brand new bike a few months ago. Said it would take two weeks. I guess I can try them first and also cancel the windshield if it hasn't shown up yet. Sure not going to order the bag from them if they don't have it.

My wife has the cat one on her m7 and it's a sweet bag works good! I got the RSI on it's not as nice but works good where I put it. I put it on the hood over top of the can on my m1000 and it stays warm there. I would take a picture but it's in the shop:-(

Are you riding with a balaclava on once in the alpine. If so that may be why. I wear up the trail but once the digging and work begins I take it off and it helps the head sweat less and no fog on the goggles

I have the same problem with goggles fogging. I am starting to think its my helmet that doesn't allow enough air flow. Anyone recommend a good sled helmet that breathes. I am using a Shoei (spelling?)

ok heres my take on fogging and goggle storage. When im heading up the mountain i usually wear a balaclava for windage and what not. when i get to the cabin to sign in, I remove the balaclava for my mountain riding, maybe keep a neck warmer on, reason being you sweat to much and heat up, and your goggles fog instantly. i also use the 509 goggle fan which seams to work. depending on if my goggles are wet inside or not determins if i leave them outside or bring them in when i hit the cabin again, if they are wet they should be brought in to thaw/dry otherwise they will freeze while your parked. as far as storage goes, i keep at least 5-6 lenses in my pack, and a hard 509 case mounted to my clutch cover to hold and heat my spare goggles. i had the arctic cat mesh case on the can side but find on the XP to much snow gets in the hood/upper vent and it fills my goggles with snow. the hard case keeps the snow out, but you might need a couple small holes drilled in the top to let it breathe. i relocated my tool kit to below the seat, all i did was cut out some foam in the shape of the tool kit and it sits right in there with no issue. here is a couple pics

Also taking them off while stopped helps, and leave them cold, fire up your sled then put them on and ride again. Once the air flows through them I have no problem

I bought a "universal" one off Royal Distributors, for the wifes 800 CF. It mounts nicely out of the way of everything. I have cats google bag, mounted on my 1000CF. it dose rub against the pipe a bit, So I don't leave the spare googles in there for too long. But they work great

The windshield for my bike still had not come in two months after I ordered it so I cancelled the order today and bought one of the cat bags. Just have to mount in under the side panel somewhere and it should help defog one set while wearing another.

If you guys are having goggle fogging issues with the oakleys and more expensive brands of goggles it's cause the anti fog coating was damaged on them. Whatever you do, do not touch them with your hands or fingers, and when you wipe them only use the little microfiber case/cloth they came in. I never have fogging issues and I wear a balaclava and have a chitty breath guard. As soon as you touch the lens of the goggle with your finger there done, I messed up and did that with one of my pairs accidentally and sure enough right where my finger touched is where it fogs up now.

I have heard that too. Doesn't help that I used them in the summer for quadding.

Case worked ok today. Gotta get a better spot tho. Was covered in snow
