you diehards just keep driving them poos, brp just released a statment that etec have less than 3 percent failure rate, poos are over 12percent, do you see a difference


More machines sold generally means likelyhood of more failures.
Enjoy the new teeter totters.

as a percentage that would stay the same regardless of machines sold. its a ratio. even if they sold 10 sleds 12% still failed. (providing freds information is correct)

the 3% for the etec is correct and that is for 2011 model year. which had the piston recall.

Pretty sure he got 12% from a snowest poll... and this is far from an accurate number or scientific process since most people that have a failed engine will vote while others that haven't will simply keep scrolling posts. I'm sure there are some other doo/cat lovers that voted against the Polaris and brought the number down (hint, hint....)
