a little more good news that i heard today that hasn't been mentioned on here yet is that the 2013 pro will have new pistons and head,,,tighter tolerances so maybe better reliability

Just curious, where did you acquire this info?

read it on snowest, then asked the local dealer yesterday while checkin out the new 2013's and he confirmed,,,sounds promising

Cool. Not an expert piston clearances and whatnot, but when I had the head mine and rocked the pistons back and forth, it seemed pretty suspect.

i never had any of the tight motors in 07 even thou they were out there, and yes they have had issues, but nothing even similar to the numbers the rmk900 were at, towed a few of them in my day

if you look at dodge, gm, case, articat, doo, and many others, they have someone build their motors for them that have a proven record and are continously improving it, then look at all the crap ford dealt with building their own diesels, they lost alot of valid customers with their diesels, john deere did the same and somewhat failed in quality

poo should have someone else take care of their engines, that has a proven record with performance, mytwo cents
