there are 16 fires raging west of rocky right now, can't see any fires being allowed in west country, 11 new fires started sunday, alone. looks like trees are down all over the area. should put a real damper on may long camping. i see fire and camping bans on the horizon.

i know some people who don't go anywhere for may long because the weather is usually crappy to begin with. but with the recent fires now and the stupid wind there's already fire bans in place. and what you had just posted about how many fires there are: that is one too many fires already.

I'll avoid the May long camping zoo's. We usually head out after the forests are trampled, the beer cans still laying around, and the messes are still there...

Gas prices seem to be holding though HAHA
