Hey guys now that the white fluffy stuff is vanishing, its time to consider a new project. I got a old 454 chev bigblock that needs a rebuild as one of the pistons exploded. I need some info on some good reliable shops that rebuild engines. It will be put in an older chev truck and mostly just used for cruizing, some mild towing.

Well seeing that your location is in Canada, it leaves a whole pile of shops available to choose from. LOL!

Muscle motors in Strathmore are very knowledgeable. They can rebuild it so it's stock, or build it into a monster.

Good Guys in Fort Saskatchewan does great work at a reasonable cost. I get my racecar engines done there and have had ZERO trouble!

What kind of numbers $$$ are we talking about here guys. I expect it needs to be bored 30 over and probably some machine work on the bottom end for safety measures. I plan on basically putting all new parts in, cam, pistons, heads, intake etc... I know the costs of the parts so I'm looking for the machine work costs only.
