You would be flying at the speed of light to do it in a day. I would take 2 or more days so you can at least enjoy the trails and check sites out

We did it in 8hrs
Staged at Eagle River. Rode to Swan Hills. Topped up. Rode to Fox Creek topped up. Then back to Eagle River in Whitecourt.

The entire triangle was groomed and table top flat for some event. So it work great. We averaged about 90kms/hr according to our GPS so yeah you need to fly.

Other times I've riden on it. It was so rough you couldn't go fast. Or there was dead fall blocking the trail.

But it is doable in a day.

Wow ! So many km's would that be ? The GPS average speed would just be the moving time,
not including the rest stops , refuel etc... correct ?
Yah , you must have blurry most of the time , a high speed iron butt run .

I can't remember the kms. I think I posted about it when we did the rub. Either 2 or 3 years ago.
There was another larger group that did it that day as well. I think they did it in 10 hrs.

Our stops were quick. Gas eat fly.
There were a few straight aways we were maxed out.

But again conditions were perfect all around.

For anyone wanting to do this ride I want to remind you that ASA Trail Passes are MANDATORY on these trails.

If you plan on taking your time. And doing this over 2 days.
I personally would stay in Swan Hills
Fox creek you would need to ride through town to get to the motels and gas stations. There is a sign entering fox creek stating the laws and rules of riding in town.
Whitecourt I like for staging.

Old Mountain Man was the other group 2 years ago that ran it same day we did. But trails were in great shape. Freshly groomed

Also need to mention that speed limit on trails is 80 km/h. In Saskatchewan at least.

I wouldnt stay in swan myself, nothing really up there anymore for decent restaurants and the hotels are disgusting at best, its easily dooable in a day, but as stated be prepared to ride hard and fast, being local i could care less to stop and take in the sites, oilfield leases and logging cutblocks dont do it for scenery for this guy lol, best bet, stage at eagle river do the whole triangle, and then kick back and relax in whitecourt, way more eating options as well as way more beverage establishments to go to and tell stories from the long hard day, my 2 cents
