anybody been to silent last week? how's the trail? how far up can you get with a trailer?

Wondering same heading there next week a early update would be kewl. How far up can we take trucks.

We staged at 35 still. They were grooming from there. 17-35 is rough and really sloppy in the afternoons.

Staged at 12km at Gorman today. 4-6" of fresh... Not bad for April.

gorman was too much fun 2day !!!
could post in the gorman thread ... but ... meh ...

there was only 3 groups al day,
we had holt all 2 our selves!
it was cold, blower, and epic fun!

but I'm sure revey was far better so I recommend you keep driving eh?

ok ok some thining to bare patches on the way up but not like sleds were over heating ...

Quartz was a gooder today. Pow was anywhere from bumper to over the windshield, atleast that's what we found. Trail in was good, trail out was bad. Pretty whooped up and a lot of it disappeared throught the day. Cloudy and snowy maost the day but by 2 the sun poked out for a bit, out enough to get up high. We had a couple small breaks in the fresh but overall avg looked safe. Mega hard under all that fresh.

Looks like the whole Bettie crew made it out as well ... Either that or those were Bettie rentals lol.

Ohh yea, the turbo etec is kickin really good now

Hey guys coming in tommorow riding all week in the Golden area any sugestions to best snow this week would be great. Read some good info from today. Would love more info and if anyone wants to join us that would be great as well.
Checking in at Radium hot spring, riding where ever the snow is best.

Was up at Gorman yesterday. Groomer had just been out the previous day as they got some snow. For most of the day we were the only people up there. Snow was really good actually, I was surprised. We did our best but we left lots of untracked stuff. The road into the second parking lot wasn't really bad either. If its blowing and snowing/raining I don't think I would go to Gorman though.

the last few days have been super fun,
not the deepest snow you've ever riden but we can climb almost everything and in blower pow too!
lower mtn sux and you'll b driving awayz up the trail, but up top is january.

Anyone know where people are parking at quartz? In golden with a three place and not sure where the best place would be for tomorrow

The main parking lot, drove by on the way back from revy today and there were trucks and trailers in the lot. We rode there on wed and there was a bit of gravel to ride to get to the snow but nothing to worry bout.
