So what's the verdict? Are Quartz, Gorman & Silent pounded out or still worth the 3+ hour drive out?

I vote no if they haven,t had any snow since Sat hit a rock at Quartz Friday and broke a chain case on my kids dragon, Silent was better but was getting pretty tracked up by the end of Sat and there was lots of rocks there also. Golden needs a good dump before I head back.

Went into silent monday and was allright, still some pow around, went back into holt tuesday and was ok too, once you get off the hiway, the snow was getting harder that day, and starting to slide about 10inches thick.

We have been getting snow but only a few cm at a time... boring! It looks like there is a fair amount of precip in the upcoming days so we are allllll keeping our fingers crossed. Keep in mind now there is 10-15cm of surface facets with new snow on top with some wind in the forecast. maybe this will be the first real storm cycle of the year????

Was there jan 4-5 silent was pounded out, Gorman pounded out too! Looks like a frontal system moving in x fingers for a good dump

maybe you should try some exlax, don't think crossing fingers will help in taking a good dump, just sayin, tryin to keep ya regular nutts. and what did you use your finger for on the maxi pad

Anyone riding Golden area on the 10 and 11th. I was coming out for the weekend, but thought I would come out early and check out what this storm is bringing. Sledding buddies can't make it until Thursday night, or Friday night, so looking for someone to ride with. Shoot me a PM if anyone is going out and doesn't mind me tagging along.

at our own private ski hill today ...
I stopped for a beer and to chop some wood n do some ch!t ... ok it was 3 beers ...
at our lower mtn day lodge,
at 2000m -3 30cm-ish and was puking hard when I left.
