I'm on salary, so the extra 1.5 hrs cuts into my beer time In Kelowna Monday afternoon.

As for speeding: not an issue. Company truck with GPS monitoring. I just set the cruise at about 5k over and get along....

Went to Sicamous last Wednesday to look at a potential job. Got passed twice on a solid double yellow and it wasn’t a process where they were a little short. They started in a solid double yellow and it was like that throughout the whole passing process. A little nervous to say the least.

9 times out of 10 they turn in to Sicamous cause they live there. I have seen it many times.

Pretty ugly wreck yesterday at edgewater. Looked like maybe someone hit the back of a slow moving tanker and then caused a head on in some curves. I was about 5min after it happened. They were working on a guy on the highway and I think there might have been a fatality in the car that was flipped. Not a good thing to have happen. That road was scary yesterday.

What is the latest anticipated opening for this road, even intermittent openings? Was planning to head to revy this weekend but likely postponing now for a few weeks.

DriveBC site says 1 lane alternating traffic during the day…30 min delays. Better than an extra 1.5hrs going through Radium. Is this info accurate?

Kimrick, love the pictures. Building some kick arse bridges there. I have done quite a few myself lol, well 30 meter spans with pad and post pre cast stuff. Love bridge building, fun stuff.
