Having log trucks in the ditch costs Mills big money, having trucks in the ditch or sitting on the side of the road costs the province nothing...
If the province was responsible for the cost of trucks sitting because of piss poor roads ch!t would get done properly.

Ya but those 5000 trucks stuck in golden for a whole day isnt helping the supply chain issues any.


Trying to get a decent meal in Revelstoke right now isnt easy. Places are running out of cheese ffs

This year the conditions of the roads are the worst i have ever seen... Last 3 weeks the roads have been a solid sheet of ice. Road maint trucks in the ditch just about every day... But yet they keep making excuses why their efforts to remove the ice are failing... This year they did not even use the beat juice on the roads as in previous years that kept them nice and clear

I think salt and beet juice need temps of -10 or warmer to work don’t they? If it’s -25 like it has been out there about all they can do is put down sand and plow I’m thinking?

Road closure west of Sicamous for maybe over 24 hours. Multi-vehicle accident with a TCH detour south of Sicamous and back up to Salmon Arm. Lots of tractor trailers on the way sledding and coming home yesterday.
