Silent... Parked at 44 but could have drove in a couple KM more. Trail in was like it was 10 years ago before grooming. Snow was good. Could find anything from spindle to just past bumper deep.

gorman.... Lots of rocks still, trail was very icy.

i would say overal golden is about 2-3ft less than normal. Most likely due to the warm weather and rain

Rode Quartz fri, it's pretty tracked out and need a more snow.

Rode silent pass today and it was much much better lots of fresh snow all around. It's a longer drive but well worth it. The logging rode up is very icey, make sure you have good winter tires. Seen some guys almost go off the side and others were chaining up their trucks and trailers... Take your time going down.

Rode hope yesterday. Pretty poor still. By far the least amt of snow I've ever seen there.

Maybe 8in ontop of the rain crust. In comparison, boulder had about 3ft ontop of the crust a day earlier but I suspect it's all tracked out by now.

Had one slide let go right on the side of the trail.

If you park at the gate you'll be tickling gravel right to the turnoff. The snow on the road is getting a little deep from Susan lake to the ferry. Would be a little dicey for a 4 placer

Yes anything north of golden is no good... Been positive temps for the last 2 weeks. Stay south or west

chatter hasn't even opened yet for cat skiing is the word on the street

Chatter is now open for cat skiing. Same conditions as everywhere else in BC.... Not much snow below. 2000m

Hey all, coming to golden for fist time tomorrow, 4 exp riders and 4 newbies. Do not know the area and wondering if anyone can suggest good places to ride, hopefully riding for 3 days. we have a long box truck with 30' trailer and 1 with a deck and 2 place, but from reading this thread, sounds like some of the access roads are not friendly for what we have and want to avoid having a bad expierence. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
