I rode Quartz yesterday a little fresh snow and sun was a pretty decnt day. Trail was excellent. Seen people riding and climbing in the park again. If this keeps happening we will lose more areas. There are signs all over posting the boundaries no excuse for this!

It’s up to us to police. Id rather get in a tilt on the hill for speaking up than lose areas. Maybe grab a few other riders and a larger group could ride up and speak out. Hmmm. Not sure the answer.

Any reports on silent heading into there this weekend. Still plowed to 46? Got the little enclosed so backing that thing up is like pushing a rope.

Wow gee I never thought of that thanks for that pearl of wisdom. Was more curious about what condition it was in from maybe a first hand account

minor snow throughout the week, 10ish cm. Don’t expect anything past the bumper. Maybe in wind loaded areas you will see more.

First one(s) into quartz lake today. Big group followed after, not to sure they knew where they were going by the radio chat lol. Anywho, decent snow, bumperish deep. Everyone is tagging rocks all the way in. Spring is upon us, champagne snow in the AM, the start of mashed potatoes in the afternoon. Parking is already at the 10km upper lot. Bring a radio!

Got into silent Saturday. We were up through the night on Friday with the gooseneck and camped at the east side of the bridge at 46. If there's steady traffic for a while the road will stay punched out to 46 but another good dump or so and it'll be to deep to get past 21 with anything but a chained up deck.
Was first sleds in Saturday morning. Close to a foot of fresh on the trail and it was relatively smooth! Visibility off and on all day. Played all the little drainage and lakes in the morning and dropped into the back when it cleared up for a bit in the afternoon. Was plenty deep in the back and would hVe been insane with good light. Messed around there for a bit till it started closing in by around 4. Was pretty glad to have a track on the gps to follow back out and the 25 sleds that followed us out a few said they had no idea where they were.
Decent day. Still lots of good snow to be had if the weather clears the next few days.

Anyone been out lately ? Wondering if it’s worth coming down Saturday morning for a quick 2 day ride ?
Just wondering the same thing. Some guys I know went to rev but I think we're going to hit golden to save some driving. Anyone been into silent this week?

Don’t expect great snow, warm temps all week. Nothing new happening snow wise. Not that almost all restaurants are shut down and half the hotels.

grooming has been stopped and no trail fee collection. This weekend will be the last for a decent trail at this point

Gorman pretty packed down. No new snow. Spindle deep in the best spots maybe slightly more. No more than bumper deep. Pictures will always lie but it was a decent ride. Not sure why keep parking at the low lot when you can goto the upper lot, anyways keep riding a dirty plowed road. No trail fees, I’d imagine after this weekend the trail will be whooped pretty decent. Bout 30-40 trucks of people up top today.

Found a grey windshield on the climb up to the lakes, that would be the harder way up to the lakes.
