Going rooping tomorrow.
Will report back with our findings rrankin.
Trailering shouldn't be an issue whoever I would cary a two way radio with you as they are actively logging

Sorry,
Went to Revy instead.
The extra time driving was well worth it!

Rode Quartz today. Was great. Lots of fresh. Trail was starting to get rough on the way out
Be aware of the avy risk guys.

I am surprised you could ride after all those teas????

Anyone riding over the next few days and wouldn't mind adding another rider to their group?

Any updates on snow condition at Quartz just wondering if it's worth a day trip out there..... Ride safe to all who's riding and watch out fellow riders

Snow was real good.

On a side note 4 riders were involved in an avy at Gorman today. All are ok and not injured.

There was at least 15 riders there within a minute to begin the beacon search. 5 minutes in everyone was accounted for, none were fully buried, up to the waist for at least 2 guys. Obviously everyone was shaken up, a CAA guide will be reporting the Avy.

Poor terrain selection on this one. Stay safe.

Those guys were extremely lucky. I hope something was learned from this situation. Looking at the debris pile I thought it was gonna be a recovery. My whole group was somewhat effected by seeing this unfold but were very relieved everybody went home after.

Your pictures are real small but that looks like the chute on the northwest corner of the lake. I remember climbing to the top of that in 96 on my Summit. It has slid and taken out the outhouse on the north end many times.
