Going wage for Millright

Just checking for a friend what the going rate for a contract millwright doing shutdowns etc. He is a journeyman with 25+ years experience in Edmonton area. Works mostly pulp mills, coal, and some oil and gas.

My cousin made $41/h in camp at fort crack and makes $38/h in RD with better benefits

We pay our contractors 40-50/hr

We have a contract millwright on our site he gets $85/hr + $25/hr for a tooled truck.

One of the local refinery's pays $45-$50/hr. They work a 9/80 shift.
