The conservatives have the largest popular vote % ever, to not be the official govt. They are something like a million more canadians voted for the cpc than the liberals.

That’s why people need to understand that the CPC is the loan soldier in a socialist fight.
PPC turns off way more supporters than the CPC does. CPC turns off the extreme Conservative thinking, and the thinking of people in the east that the conservatives are only going to support the west. The “Red Erin” unfortunately is necessary to win over the seats in the east, having the PPC in the mix now is going to continually hurt the progress of the CPC as it was very evident in the last two elections.
The PPC IMO needs to relook at their leadership and or there platform as a Conservative party. Myself as a voter, has never felt that Max would work with the conservatives, just for the fact that he ran away and started his own sandbox because he didn’t want to play in the sandbox he was apart of.
Things do have to change, if not than I foresee a continuing liberal party leadership trend in our future.

Agreed I believe, the first step to that what you mentioned is maintaining leadership within the party. CPC has seen too many leadership changes, it did not help the party as a whole, IMO. Otool mentioned he will remain as the party leader.
Otool was very new in is roll, IMO I thought he did extremely well, given the time he was the party leader.

not very well! peeps in Alberta may not be angry enough, also trying to be a copy of the Block may not work here? it may be a start, only i think Alberta is intrenched in CPC support and it's going to take a Catastrophe to effect change.

I think before election time he will get out of politics. Liberals also need some sort of fresh leader, probably Freeland . Trudeau threw everything out there with free money and still didn’t get a majority.

I can verify a similar story. My son works for Nutrien in Calgary. A coworker of his went to vote first thing Monday and came to work bitching someone had voted in his name before him. Got in a big fight with the Election official and left in a huff. Can’t blame him.

The tally is 21 seats that went liberal because of Cpc / PPC splits and 2 to Ndp. With current seat count at Lpc 158 and Cpc at 119 it could have been 137 LPC 142 Cpc… ah democracy.

How is that even possible??? Either it’s a error and the wrong person got checked off the list due to not paying attention, or It’s a case of a stolen identity. The second one would make me very nervous if that happened to me, and I would of called the cops.

The polling station person didn’t even verify that it was me in the photo.

I didn’t ask for all the details. It could have been something as simple as the wrong name got crossed off the list. I will see if I can find out more. My son was just telling me about it last night on his way home from work.

Very sad evening for sure, pollster's proved once again why they have no idea. I just guessed & blew it incredibly.....just sad. Then youse characters that are glued to the polls, justifying their existence & importance.

I fully expected the excuses about the bad man Mad Max splitting the vote blah blah, always somebody else's fault.........it's the just Cdn way No such thing as looking in the mirror anymore.

Just listened to True North show Candace chatting about the loser Trudeau & why he should resign but is arrogantly enough not to. She gave a pretty summary why & how your current fav PC leader blew it while throwing conservatives like me under the bus....a failed strategy......it's worth a listen.

A major fail from my perspective regarding the conservative platform should that be provincial or federal. Is the silence & rolling over on such things as humans controlling world weather, lockdown's & vaccine passports. When you dig into any of these, there is very good information & very wise people that exposé the BS. Why not platform & help educate the sheep? Instead you ban & refuse to speak to the media such as rebel news because they too are mean people.....when in fact they support a conservative definition & can help.

If nothing else there is another educated opinion that is valid & worth listening to with out name calling & extremist attitudes. The abuse of terms, such as "following the science".....as soon as someone spews that the BS flags are up!

It's sad & it's done, it's an old boys club & a cartel.....sad days ahead. You are selected not elected Ha! I love that line
