Hey Trax 2 Treadz,

I don't ride in snow, just heavy mud, was looking at the MXT Carbon Eliminator. Is that the one you'd recommend?

Also, can the lenses be easily replaced? So if I get caught at night, could I easily replace the lenses while on the trail? Do you offer extra lenses? I couldn't find that in your site.

Another one, do they come with tear-off posts? Is this an add-on?

And last but not least, I missed your great sale last week, any chance it can be extended a bit?

Thanks.

PS- I'm assuming you ship overseas, if you don't, please let me know.

Hi 98

I am not sure of the specific terrain and conditions that you will be riding it but the MXT is a good all around motorsport goggle. Are you thinking of ordering the double vermillion lens with a spare clear lens? I am not sure of your personal preference but the MXT's do not come with a polarized lens nor are they at present an option. Some people will only ride with a polarized lens and some people don't like polarization again that is a personal preference to consider.

The MXT does come with a replaceable clear lens. You can either choose the clear with posts for the tear off system or the clear with holes to hook up the film system. Here is the link to the page with the 2 systems on it available for purchase.

The following is a link to a video with a demo on how to replace your lens. Honestly you can do that but I prefer to carry 2 sets of goggles instead. I ride with a polarized optical orange lens during the day because it works with both flat light and bright light and then I have a spare set of goggles with a clear lens incase we get caught out at night for whatever reason.

The sale from last week is over but they do have sales every week. I am sure the MXT/Eliminator combo will come up again I just have no idea when that may be. I do post the sales every Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest in our vendor section.

Habervision does ship overseas and ordering from their website using our affinity code would be the safest most secure option for you.

I hope I answered all your questions and didn`t confuse you too bad!...lol! If I did please do not hesitate to ask more questions.

Thanks

Well my order was placed on the 3rd and the goggles came in on the 10th so that is pretty good shipping at this time of year... Really good packaging and they had even installed the eliminator in my goggles for me with a little sticky note and all... very good... But then I realized they are the wrong goggles, they shipped a pair of primas instead of the ouzo I ordered. So i called the customer service number and I notified trax to treadz as well. The first number I called (the one on the website) gave me a different number to call so I called the alternate number and talked to a super nice lady named Sarah. She set me up with the proper goggles and said she would get them shipped out ASAP and that she was really sorry. Then after some discussion about what to do with the Prima goggles I had already recieved she offered me a price to buy them that I could not refuse. Saves them having to ship them back and such as well so I am quite happy with the whole situation...I spent a little more than I planned but now I have 2 sets of goggles, all i need is a little snow and I will try them out and let you all know how they work...

Thanks again to Trax to Treadz and to Habervision for the great, quick, and efficient service.

Went out the other night, -20 celcius on the lake, in the bush kinda a mix of riding and the Haber Prima Eliminators worked great... I was able to see good in the dark as well so I was very happy with the goggles...

I was without a breath deflector too, all I had was the cheapo bellaclava on but still worked out good...

I actually just set the fan to auto and let it run and it was good to go... Only thing I found the battery seemed quite week after the ride so I think I will be replacing it with a lithium one ( just has a no name one in it ). Next ride out I should have the new helmet, klim bellaclava, and a new battery in the eliminator so we will try that out and see how it goes...
