Not sure if it’s just coincidence or not , but I’ve been thinking of a new to me 1/2 ton , and it seems like lately I’ve seen an abnormally high number if fairly new Chev/GMC pickups on deck trucks the last while. And after some test drives and snooping , I had sorta decided on that brand , mainly cause of the 6.2 engine. Coincidence ??

My guess would be repo's over mechanical problems. A lot of people are coming to the end of the 3 month payment deferral that GM was allowing.

But I think you are just noticing it more now because you are interested in the truck.

No , I’m noticing it more now because I’m seeing that circumstance more often than I’m seeing any other brands. When and if I see other brands on a deck/tow truck I notice that also.

I wish I could say it was some hard pull off the line but I started it with the command start and noticed when I walked out the door.
