From what I'm reading, yes it does. But would like first hand experience, from someone who's tried it.Does disabling help the lifters last longer or are they still prone to failure?
Range Device or get a tune.... I tuned my 2015 to be on all 8 all the time. Still had a some lifter issues but it was on the non AFM lifters. But it wasn't until till 230,000 km then it got a new cam, and all new lifters and did the mechanical afm delete.I should have posted that it's for a 2017 GM
I installed this one yesterday. As well as a new battery, as the original 2017 battery was getting week, lol.
That was likely your transmission relearning how to shift the way it should... unfortunately you can't tune the 8spd'sI got 1000K on now and pretty happy with it!!!
The first 4 days, I wanted to chuck it out the window..... It ate a LOT of gas an ran like sh!t, then it balanced out
Currently getting 11.3/100 and best sits at 10.5/100
Throttle response is spot on!!!!
I would recommend this product, to anyone looking at cheaply deleting their AFM
