7500km report: 2 thumbs up. Zero issues. I've read on line about complaints with the shifting of the 7 speed trans, but I find it no worse than any other computer controlled trans I've had....very smooth, but shifts for mileage. Speaking of which....my ave city/hwy is 13.3l/100. Drove RD to Creston yesterday (650km), 120 in AB, 110 and on/off the throttle LOTS for the passing lanes where all the RVs find the gas peddle (grrr, but I digress)......got 10.9 l/100. Still got 1/4 tank. I stopped and filled in Cranbrook with all my GMs.

Think I might go to a titan or tundra half ton on next go for the wife, after 3 ecoboost that all had throttle bodies fail and now a 16 ram hemi that had lifters go out at 23k, I'm thinking the extra dollars might be worth it.

I'm thinking tundra? Some of the 6.4 dodges at work have had a ton of issues. I would run an older 6L chevy any day all day though, these things are bullet proof...had some with 500,000km and yes they are hard on gas but the things won't die!
