With you on that.. need identification

All the other crap they never needed to add thou on restrictions, pills closing at 5pm, can’t hand out water to people in line for hrs..

Just makes them look bad overall, just let the people vote if they wish
Fred if you read the bill they actually increased the hours. The water thing is all blown out of proportion. In the new legislation a Biden or Trump campaign person cannot hand water to people in line or be within 150 ft of the people in line. Election poll officials can however hand out water to people in line. Election poll officials are neutral and will not try to sway your pre vote opinion while they do it. Take the time to google the bill and read it. Its worth the time and enlightening to read to see all the fake news on this bill.

Will look at it when I have a chance, my understanding was less voting hrs after normal working hrs and less locations..

I could certainly see repubs doing there thing after the last election results, suppression is a easy fix

The voting hr's are changed to mandated 9-5. They can stay open later. a lot of people can't get office hr's off.

The big one for me is the new power to replace voting officials, and you know Georgia would've, and let trump steal the election.

Voting without ID doesn't seem right.

I'll add this, why are Republicans so afraid of "the people" voting ?
Republicans love voters. Republican voters will stand in line for hours to vote in the hot sun or cold weather. Liberals can't be bothered so prefer mail in voting. Where the problem lies is when states send out mail in votes to everyone registered in the state and then have 120% voters voted for who was registered. Thats where the problem lies

Seriously, I've never stood in line for more than 20 minutes and people can bring their own water if they think their going to be in line for a long time. Some of the stuff the left bitches about is just mind boggling.

This has to be one of the dumbest questions I've ever read and goes to show how little you know about American politics. It's not even worthy of an answer.

Really, here is a small clip from Wiki,do your own reading. There's a ton of credible information to support my assertion.

In the United States, elections are administered locally, and forms of voter suppression vary among jurisdictions. At the founding of the country, the right to vote in most states was limited to property-owning white males.[SUP][17][/SUP] Over time, the right to vote was formally granted to racial minorities, women, and youth.[SUP][18][/SUP][SUP][19][/SUP][SUP][20][/SUP] During the later 19th and early 20th centuries, Southern states passed Jim Crow laws to suppress poor and racial minority voters – such laws included poll taxes, literacy tests, and grandfather clauses.[SUP][21][/SUP][SUP][22][/SUP][SUP][23][/SUP] Most of these voter suppression tactics were made illegal after the enactment of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Even after the repeal of the Jim Crow laws that were implemented by these statutes, there have been repetitive incidents of racial discrimination against voters in Southern States. Specifically, in 2018, 87,000 people in Georgia were unable to vote because of late registration. Many of the states with the strictest voting regulations are swing states, which have been enacted primarily by politicians who represent the Republican party.[SUP][24][/SUP] According to AMP Reports, many people who were predicted to be in favor of voting for the Democratic party had their ballot dismissed, as the study showed in an analysis that "A disproportionate number of those potential voters were people of color or young voters, groups that typically favor Democrats."[SUP][25][/SUP] The history of the previous Jim Crow regulations in the southern states affects the voter suppression today because people that fall into the minority category often have their vote dismissed, due to manipulation of voting regulations.[SUP][26][/SUP]

Save your answer, you're not a credible source are you.

Only on Snow and Mud can a Canadian tell an American how he thinks the voting system works in that persons home country....

Pretty sad that a Canadian is more educated about American politics, I agree.

Facts are facts

Republicans have introduced 250 voter suppression bills in 45 states just this year.

Why you ask, because the republican party is in trouble, between the education of the average voter and demographics, without major changes the party is done.

Republican members of congress will not support the will of the people that put them in office. How long will "party over policy" last.

The world is changing, Republican politicians are not. 70% of Republican voters wanted the stim package passed, yet Republican representatives all voted against. Not even one.

They wasted their time talking about Mr Potato head and Dr. Seuss even Tuck and Hannity forgot about the Stim package.

Somehow they thought they could pin that on Biden, if only somehow...

The Republican party has turned into an obstructionist party.

Pretty sure the US is primed for a third party a centralist party,it will happen when policy becomes important to voters.

Gerrymandering districts is another way Republicans steal votes, the world is at your fingertips, learn something about it from a credible source.

Have you seen the so called stim package?, I think the democrats covered the obstructionist the last 5 years. Are you mentally disabled by chance?

You're last three lines at least are BS. Wikipedia is easily edited and manipulated, and you didn't provide a link to the paragraph. We all know who enacted Jim Crow law, and it wasn't Republicans.

Donald Trump says hello. You are dumber than a bag of hammers, no insult meant to hammers.

You do know that the GOP gained 12 seats in the house right? The GOP is not fading but actually growing but you're too brain washed to know anything about that. Scratch that, you're not brain washed, that would mean you had a brain which everyone here has already acknowledged that you do not.

I figure people stayed Republican on the lower ticket because they gave Biden the top job.

If Biden gets the train back on the tracks look out.
