New short block at 1800km -warranty

New ECM due to a shorted fuel injector at 2400km -Not warranty- over 2 years

Few other small turbo issues along the way,

What’s everyone getting for km on these gen 4 before any major issues?

I have seen lots of short blocks (na or turbos) and fuel injector faults/ECMs in the past few years between all my riding buddies and friends of friends.

I know boosted trades for reliability but sure missing the days of 5-6000km without a fault

Guy who guides and owns a couple rentals says 3000-3500km is when motors were starting to go,give issues, his main issues non motor related were with shot it had quit workin on numerous sleds

My '17 has 12,500k on it.
Primary broke an arm at 4500km, engine blew dramatically at 7200km. I think there was fuel pump at some point too. All replaced under warranty. Had the recalls done.
3 tracks - no warranty. Clutching was off and was hard on belts initially but resolved it myself. No other significant issues.

2022 turbo - 5500km so far. Fuel gauge is out to lunch since new. Exhaust valve actuator linkage broke 500km ago. Fixed it myself.
3rd belt. Original track. Messed with the clutching. Been pull and go and still runs like new.

Good fuel, oil, always warm up and stay on top of maintenance.

The amount a guy can get out anymore should keep the sleds running for years.....My 2020.5 only has 1700 kms on it. Sadly when I got it last February it had 1450 kms on it. Not too worried about reliability; other than getting it out if something goes wrong since she's on warranty until 2026. I think Ken at Mountain Magic had over 6000 kms on his 2017. Every inch of that running an Areocharger pump gas turbo. If things keep going the direction they are now this will sadly likely end up being my last sled.
