Hello Sledders, new to the forum and new to the sport. I hail from Winterpeg where its cold, little snow and flat. I have been visiting the mountains since I was 14 and have sled boarded Gorman lake a dozen times in the past 8yrs.

Bought a 175 this yr from doo and put a board rack on it. My buddy is telling me the sled is too big for me and I should be riding a 154. So I am wondering if anyone knows how to convert a 175 to a 154? looking for good vids showing the conversion. I have been through all of Dave's videos and he hasn't done one yet..

Headed to Golden next week to break her in be nice to convert it before then.

I would get a new buddy. The 175 will be just fine. Will probably be easier to learn on cause you won’t be stuck all day as bad.

With the cooler now integrated into the tunnel I would say it is cost prohibitive. If you really want a 154 sell the 175 and buy a 154. It is easier to stretch a sled. Even with taking a hit on selling your 175 and buying a new 154 you will be money ahead and have warranty. If you shorten your 175 kiss the warranty good buy.

You would be farther ahead selling the 175 and buying a 154 if thats the direction you want to go.

Why is the pic side ways it's not on my CPU..? Odd forum thing? (update. opened in windows pic viewer rotated and rotated back straight, closed, reuploaded. something in the forum code set to landscape default..) found the advanced edit too..

Pic from Gorman Yesterday. Report I got from Rocky Mountain Riders guide doing a family tour up to the trial's end said guys were up in that to the lake and holt, Lang? my report wasn't first hand. Sounded good thou expect the talk about the trail. Pow and face shots for those few thou I hear.

I thought everyone on here was a smart ass... must just be me.. I was kidding guys.. looking forward to the 175 and getting out sledding more with my own machine. looking forward to meeting snow and mudders on the mountain.

I'll trade you my 165 for your 175. That's one way to reduce your track length. It will even look like it was done at the factory and still have warranty. Lol

Thats not a bad Idea, If I trade you my 175 for your 165 then maybe I can trade that 165 for a 154 and then maybe trade that 154 for a snow scoot. Then I would be on something that matches my riding abilities better.

Lol. Sno scoots hold there value better than any G4. So no worries about losing money when you are ready to sell the sno scoot. It's a win win for both of us. Lol
