Gator tires?

Anyone have any experience with Gators? I'm wondering if they are heavy more than anything? I know they work well, alot like a Mud Bug but a little deeper lug. I just don't want a real heavy tire. I have a customer that want's them for his 2 wheel drive sport quad and I don't know alot about them. Thanks Dan

Had some on a Brute for a couple rides. Seemed pretty good, but they measure small and skinny, 28x12's were less than 27 tall and at most about 11 wide.

How did you find them for weight? Did they seem heavy?

From what I remember, not bad, but used to fairly heavy tires, 589's and mudbitches...

27 12 12 gators are 35.6 lbs same size in mud lites are 27.8 lbs and a mud bug is 28.5 lbs
