Ya I'm gonna do the smart thing and extend it two feet. I bought the house to make some profit in the future so I want to keep it family friendly and maintain some grass for kids, while making the garage usable.

Anyone know a cheap place to get concrete work done? I will consider doing prep and forming but I want a smooth finish which may be out of my zone of expertise.

The answer is simple. Go down to the brick and get 2 boxes, a dishwasher and a fridge box. Try standing in the fridge box.... Not ideal but not bad now stand in the dishwasher box..... Size matters. No replacement for displacement

why are we talking about balls sacks and boxes.......I thought we were extending a garage here.......are you wanting a polished finish or just a smooth finish, its very easy to get a smooth finish yourself on a 4' section. you can go to a rental place (even home depot has them) and rent a 4' bull float, and then just steel trowel it down once it sets a bit....easy peasy. getting a good polish on it you may want to go professional but whats your existing look like?

Thats why I need the garage, I usually walk to work and leave the truck at home

The crew getting off shift should come and pick you up.

On the was to Tim Hortons.
