That is going to be a sweet shop, and size does matter!!
Have you got a price for placing and finishing your garage slab?
Just wondering the going rate in your area.

Thx. No infloor for me. I don't like it in shop. My father in law has it. Keeps it at 10* after a hour of wrenchen. I'm ready for a nap. I like to b able to swing the temp fast if I want.Plus the $ 15000 they wanted for parts made up my mind up. I bought a new 2 ton air conditioner and a 80000 btu hi efficient furnace from a friend for $1400 so I'll be $2500ish all done. Was that you on the hog?Hard to tell whos who, there has been alot of people doing the drive by. Most look at me like I'm on dope! But I've gone 12 years without my own shop so don't judge!
Ya that was me on the bike around 6:30. That is diffenetly a down side to the in floor heat ' much better to change the heat more effecintly with and overhead heater. You are not on dope at all. what you are building is what every man wants. you can never have a big enough shop , i have a 24x24 on the house and a 28x34 out back and I still wish i had more space. Are you putting a hoist in there ? ..... nice truck by the way!!!!

in floor is great...just not for me in a shop. The hoist will come later. I'm pouring 8inchs thick on the shop side and wiring in for a hoist. I want to get setteled in and use the space first before I put a hoist in. I'm getting older so not sure how much I would use/need a hoist. My origanal plan was a 4 post with casters, then just role her out of the way. But I perfer a 2 post any day for car/truck work. IMO

Man you must have a HUGE lot! The lots in Penhold are larger than most standard R1 lots in Red Deer....and there's NO way I would have any lawn left to cut if my garage was that big! Gonna be a sweet man-cave....

Thats why we stayed, the lot is 80 wide x 170ish deep. Not to sound shovanistic, my wife cuts the grass. Plus she loves the garage and is extreamly happy with the way its turned out.

I'm very lucky on all acounts. I cant afford most of what I'm doing to the garage , but I just tell the wife its all for my son! So far she melts and says get 2 then!
