Anyone know if Elka St.5's from a 36" G4 will fit a 34" G5?

I believe the fronts have a slight difference in length, but not sure about the reservoir clearance.
The middle I believe is 5mm longer on the G5, which in theory should work, not sure about shaft/bolt sizes though.
The rear is 25mm longer as far as I'm aware, so I'm assuming that one won't work.

Elka doesn't have a G5 set out yet. What is your recommendations?

A friend put his G4 Elka stage 3 front shocks on his G5 expert with no issues last season.

digging up this thread because I can’t get ahold of Elka to rebuild mine.

Front shocks worked?

What about rears?

Fronts fit fine. No reservoir clearance issue.
Front skid works. G5 is 5mm longer shock than G4, so as long as you're not letting the limiter all the way out, it works.
Rear skid doesn't as it's 25mm longer. I'm just using an expert shock. A shock from a 175 G4 may work on a 165/154 G5, but the increased shaft diameter may hit the rear arm.

Interior Powersports in Penticton is an Elka dealer and does rebuilds.

Hmm, I was told G4 and G5 center shock are interchangeable. I did not know about the additional shaft length.

Supposedly 1 inch more travel in G5 rear suspension no?

Riding buddy of mine just received his Raptor mayhem rear setup... looking forward to seeing how that 154 does against my 165 with serviced rear
