Gears and drive shaft are a small ticket item over a NA sled priced higher than a turbo.

I’f BRP said you can have hyvo, but you’ll get your sled when everyone gets their 9R (March) Or….you can turn your adjustment screw 3 times and get your sled in November. What do you pick?

Do you ever tension your chain in your 4wd Tcase? With 20+ times more FtLbs. Same style chain...... All V8 engines run this chain for camshafts too. And they take decades to wear out. Skidoo has been so innovative they destroy it in 200Km

It’s not the same chain in a T-case. It’s a borgwarner hyvo that’s 32 plates wide approximately compared to 13W

Should a chain not last about 70 years?
Its inside a case, not exposed to dirt, and has a constant oil supply.

It never crossed my mind that the chains or gears would break.
Maybe riding oblivious the past 5 years has saved me, my 2018 Cat has never left me stranded.

As much flak as the auto tensioner gets, I always thought it was a great system.

ah yes but when quick drive belts were failing for this reason the doo faithful all said that it doesn't happen with a chaincase. polaris junk!

No it doesn't but in all reality the components should survive this, maybe use better parts or have a disclaimer when purchasing that jumping will void warranty. I ran at least 260hp through my boosted nytros chaincase without issue.
