Funny but not funny

Last year an older lady living by her self on an acreage had a guy break into her garage in the middle of the night. He then took a hammer and chisel and broke out the kitchen window and climbed into the kitchen. She heard the noise and called the police. She thinks he must have heard her on the phone in the bedroom and left the house using the front door. The cops caught him at the end of the driveway. The cops did not charge him. She went to the Sargent and insisted he be charged and he said no, he was just cold and was looking for a place to warm up. Sheesh.

I think more people are going to start using good old fashioned western justis and not even bother calling the cops any more. The sad facts are: The criminals have more rights than the victim and there's no room in the jails for all the criminals.

There was lady on TV the other day talking about a trial she was at for her murdered husband. I loved the quote she said:

"We have a legal system but there is no justice".

That about sums it up... Innocent until proven even MORE innocent!
