You should remove the hose in the winter so it doesn't freeze and clog up. I let mine shoot out the house towards the property line swale where it should drain towards the city right of way or freeze up.

I also have a hot tub pump as a secondary sitting in there if the water level gets too high that will discharge into the sewer on the floor of the Laundry room.

It's draining beside house now and basically recycling and making a mess... That's the issue

Then you should fix your property line swale to drain. 1.5% drainage.

Put a short pipe that is sloping towards the property line to get the water away from the foundation.

Yah short pipe freezes... Heat tracing sounds like best idea.

I have mine so I can valve it to dump down the floor drain in the winter and outside in the summer. I also have a battery backup incase of a power outage and its paid for itself already.

Tell me if I'm crazy here I don't have a sump pump. But can't you heat the water in your sump so it's warm when it's pumped. So it doesn't freeze like using a heater like in the picture.

The issue is with the lines being plugged with ice already, and the water will be pretty warm to be at all effective at eroding the plug. Most sump pumps are not designed to pump warm/hot water.
Electric tracing is the best idea for issues like mentioned above.
