I found one at a new shop in Warman, just north of Saskatoon. Its a kimpex box. It was on sale for $170.00. The only thing I don't like is I cant get my seat off with it on the bike. I haven't mounted it yet, just set it on to see what it looks like.

I had a Kimpex box on my Cat. I used O-rings on either side of the u-bolts, as well as putting weather stripping around the lid. Never had a problem with water getting in or out. I'll see if I can find a pic?

I was going to have a look at that right now. I'm not sure how much further it can go back before it will look funny hanging off the back.

Thats a pretty good sized box and for $170 a really good buy.You can never have too much storage space.Just bolt it thru the composite rack if you can ,you mave have to remove the rack first as I did on my outlander.

I mounted it as far back as possible and it doesn't look bad. Was able to use two existing holes in the rack and drilled a couple more for bolting. Even managed to get the bolts in nuts down so nothing sharp sticking up through the box. Now I can just barely wriggle the seat off.

Now that I have the back figured out, I got to looking at the front and was thinking of mounting a steel or mesh box to put gas cans etc. in. I grabbed a couple of gas cans and tarp strap and just started trying different ways to tie them down. This is what I came up with. If we do an extended trip, I would have to pack fuel for two bikes. When not needing to pack fuel, I would just put them in the back box empty.
